The 2021–22 Augsburg Women's Wrestling season is Augsburg's third as a member of the Women's Collegiate Wrestling Association. The team is coached by Jake Short. Their current dual record is 5–2 including a 5th-pace finish at the NWCA Women's Wrestling National Duals in early January 2022.
Coaching Change
On March 8, 2021, Augsburg announced that the program's first coach Max Mejia was stepping down and the should would conduct a national search for a replacement.[1] On June 3, 2021, the university announced former University of Minnesota All-American Jake Short had been hired as the program's second head coach.[2]
