Ben Bauer was a wrestler for Augsburg College. In 2000 and 2001, he won the heavyweight NCAA Division III national title.[1] Bauer finished his career 136–16.[2] Bauer was also a three-time MIAC champion at heavyweight.[1]

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, no NCAA National tournaments were held for the men's team in 2020 and 2021. In 2020, the National Wrestling Coaches Association named All-American teams and 8 Augsburg wrestlers were named to the first team. In 2021, the NWCA held a post-season tournament in which 5 Augsburg wrestlers placed. |
