Brad Baus
Brad Baus is a 184-pound wrestler an Augsburg College. In his first season (2008–09), Baus was the starter at 184 pounds for much of the season.
College career
2008–09 season
Baus made his collegiate debut for Augsburg at the St. Cloud State Husky Open on December 13, 2008. He went to 1-2 at the meet.[1] Later that month, he went 2-2 at the Sunshine Open, sharing seventh place with teammate Garrett Long.[2] On January 3, Baus went 2-2 and finished fourth place at the Dickinson State (N.D.) Blue Hawk Classic.[3]
Baus made his varsity dual debut at the NCWA National Duals on January 10, 2009, when he pinned Buena Vista (Iowa) wrestler Austin Hayes 25 seconds into the second period. The same day, Baus pinned fourth-ranked (at 184 pounds) Bryan Lenhardt of Johnson and Wales in a 197-pound match; the pin came at 2:04 in the first period.[4] The next day, Baus lost twice, falling to Delaware Valley's top-ranked Mike Wilcox 5 seconds into the second period and then by technical fall to two-time defending national champion Romeo Djoumessi of Wartburg.[5]
2009–10 season
Baus begins his second season listed at 184 pounds.[6]
