In the first round, he earned an 11-2 major decision over Justin Garcia (Wisconsin-La Crosse). In the quarterfinals, he earned a 1-0 decision over Morningside's Drew Smith. In the semifinals, he lost a 6-4 decision to Jordan Harer (Dakota Wesleyan). Cody Hansen is a former Augsburg wrestler. He is a 2009 graduate of Albert Lea (Minn.) High School.

Personal life

Hansen is the fourth Hansen brother to wrestle at Augsburg: Josh, Zach and Beau preceded him.[1] His parents are Jon and Vicki.[2]
