Cody Hansen is an incoming Augsburg wrestler. He is a 2009 graduate of Albert Lea (Minn.) High School.
Personal life
Hansen is the fourth Hansen brother to wrestle at Augsburg: Josh, Zach and Beau.[1] His parents are Jon and Vicki.[2]
High school career
Hansen wrestled for Albert Lea (Minn.) High School. He was a four-time state tournament qualifier and three-time placewinner. In 2007, Hansen placed second in the Class AAA 103-pound weight-class. In 2008, he placed third in the Class AAA 112-pound weight-class. In 2009, he placed third in the Class AAA 125 weight class. In high school, Hansen compiled a 167-37 record, earning 125-pound “Special Mention” honors in the 2009 Wrestling USA magazine Best High School Seniors list.[1] In 2009, he was named to The Guillotine magazine Academic All-State first team. His GPA was 4.0 and his coach was Larry Goodnature.[2]
College career
