Eric Bettermann is a former wrestler for Augsburg College. He last competed in 1995.[1]

High school career

Bettermann wrestled for Prior Lake (Minn.) High School. In 1989, he placed fourth in the 189-pound class AA bracket.[2]

College career

Bettermann was a two-time All American at heavyweight, placing in 1994 and 1995. Betterman was MIAC champion both of those years as well.

Coaching career

Bettermann served at one time as the head coach at Minneapolis (Minn.) Southwest High School and as the State Women’s Director for Minnesota USA Wrestling.

Wrestling media

Bettermann founded The Open Mat in 2008.
