Josh Kohler is a former Augsburg 174-pound wrestler. He qualified for Nationals twice, in 2012 and 2013. Kohler finished with a 88–65 record.

High School career

Competing for Monticello High School, Kohler was a two-time state tournament qualifier at 160 pounds in 2007 and at 171 2008. Kohler had a 27–9 record as a senior and a 31–8 record as a junior.

College career

2008–09 season

Kohler finished the season with a 12–16 record.

2009–10 season

Kohler began the season listed at 174 pounds[1] and ended with a 14–10 record.

2010–11 season

Kohler began the season at 165, finishing first in the 165 pound Silver Division at the Auggie-Brute-Adidas Open with 4–0 on November 20, 2010. He dropped a 6–1 decision to Gavin Nelson (Augustana S.D.) on November 24 followed by a 1–2 showing at the Minnesota State Moorhead Open where he faced Division I and II wrestlers. Augsburg returned to Moorhead 4 days later and Kohler fell to the Dragon's Trent Sovde 3–1 at 174 pounds. A 0–2 result at the 2010 Husky Open ended his season. He finished the season 5–6 with two pins and technical fall to his credit.

2011–12 season

Kohler was the 174 pound starter for much of the season. He qualified for nationals for the first time in his career, finishing True Fourth at the Great Lakes Regional[2] and going 0–2 at Nationals.[3]

2013–13 season

Kohler was the 174 pound starter for the season. He qualified for nationals for the second time in his career, finishing third at the West Regional and going 1– at Nationals. He finished the season at with a 27–14 record, going 88–65 in his career.[4]
