Kirk Anderson is a 133-pound Augsburg wrestler. In high school, he was a three-time state champion for Barnesville High School, compiling a 245–16 record. Following high school, Anderson wrestled for Division I North Dakota State University for two years before taking a four-year break from wrestling to serve in the military.

High school career

Anderson was a three-time Minnesota state Class A state champion for Barnesville High School.[1] A six-time state qualifier, Anderson placed five times: second at 103 A in 2003,[2] first at 112 A in 2004,[3] first at 119 A in 2005,[4] third at 125 A in 2006[5] and first at 125 A in 2007.[6] He also went 0–2 at 103 A as seventh grader in 2002.[7]
