Kirk Anderson
Kirk Anderson is a 133-pound Augsburg wrestler. In high school, he was a three-time state champion for Barnesville High School, compiling a 245–16 record. Following high school, Anderson wrestled for Division I North Dakota State University for two years before taking a four-year break from wrestling to serve in the military.
High school career
Anderson was a three-time state class A state champion for Barnesville (Minn.) High School. A six-time state qualifier, Anderson placed five times: second at 103 A in 2003, first at 112 A in 2004, first at 119 A in 2005, third at 125 A in 2006 and first at 125 A in 2007.
