College career
2013–14 season
In his first season as a wrestler for Augsburg, Hortop compiled a 8–16 at 285 pounds (while also putting in time at 197 lbs.). He made his varsity debut with a loss to Ryan Dewitt (Waldorf) by fall in 2:20 on Nov. 26, 2013.[1]
2014–15 season
Through January 25, 2015, Hortop has a 5–10 record competing at 197 and 285 pounds.[2]
