2009–10 season

Creamier began the season listed at 285 pounds.[2] At the 2009 Auggie-Brute-Adidas Open, he went 2-1 and shared the third-place spot with Andy Witzel. In the first round, he defeated Stan Lattimore (Ellsworth Community College, Iowa) by a 3-2 decision. In the quarterfinals, Cremier defeated William Penn's Ryan Groom by a 6-4 decision. He then fell to two-time defending national champion Dan Laurent of Wisconsin-La Crosse.[3] On December 8, Creamier lost a 4-1 decision to Division II opponent Tim Johnson of Minnesota State University Moorhead.[4]
