Ryan Seidler
Ryan Seidler is an Augsburg wrestler expected to compete at 141 pounds for the 2009–10 season.
High School Career
Wrestling for Adams-Friendship High School (Adams, Wis.), Seidler was a three-time state placewinner, and finished as the state Division II titlist in 2009 at 135 pounds after finishing fourth the previous two years at 119 and 125 pounds.[1] A four-time conference titlist, Seidler compiled a career record of 171-17, including 65 pins and 280 takedowns.[1]
College Career
2009–10 season
Seidler entered the season mentioned as a newcomer to watch at 141 pounds in the d3wrestle.com Preseason Rankings.[2] Seidler made his debut for Augsburg the Auggie-Brute-Adidas Open on November 21, where he went 1-2 and did not place. In the first round, Seidler pinned St. John's Samuel Morse 2:54 into the first period. In the quarterfinals, he lost to Luther's Kevin Bokoski in a 9-3 decision. In the semifinals of the consolation round (fifth place), Seidler lost to Simpson's Caleb Brus.[3]
