Victor Gliva is a former 125- and 133-pound Augsburg men's wrestler, a three-time All-American and a current member of the Augsburg men's coaching staff.

Gliva was also a three-time winner of the NCAA Elite 90 Award. He is the son of former Augsburg men's wrestler, Steve Gliva.

College career

2016–17 season

As a freshman, Gliva began the season as the starter at 125 pounds,[1] starting 12 duals at the weight.

At the national tournament, Gliva finished in 8th-place, giving him his first All-American honor.

2017–18 season

As a sophomore, Gliva remained the starter at 125 pounds, qualifying for nationals but losing in the Blood Round — the name given to the consolation round where the winner becomes an All-American and the loser's season is over.

Gliva was named the NCAA Elite 90 winner for being the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at the site of competition.

2018–19 season

As a junior, Gliva stayed in the starting role at 125 pounds, finishing the season with a fifth-place All-American Honor. At the national tournament, Gliva was awarded his second-straight Elite 90 award for being the student-athlete with the highest cumulative Grade point average at the tournament.

2019–20 season

As a senior, Gliva qualified for a fourth national tournament with a third-place finish at the Upper Midwest Regional. On the even of the national tournament, the COVID-19 pandemic caused the cancellation of the tournament. He was a named a Div. 3 All-American by the National Wrestling Coaches Association in lieu of the ability to compete in the national tournament.

Gliva earned his third-straight Elite 90 award for having the highest cumulative Grade Point Average at the scheduled Div. III national tournament. His GPA was a 4.00.
