Keeter made his Augsburg debut on November 20, 2010 at the Auggie-Brute-Adidas Open, placing eighth in the 141-pound silver division. He started his 2–2 day with a 6–4 loss to Sioux Falls (S.D.) wrestler Joe Goosby before responding with two wins to reach the eight-place match: the first over and overtime 7–5 decision over Morningside (Iowa) wrestler Kiefer Richards and Codie Lane (Southwest Minnesota State) 11–3. Will Keeter is a 149 pound wrestler for Augsburg. Keeter is a 2012 All-American, finishing third at 141 pounds. He did not wrestle after the 2012 Citrus Open, with Rashad Kennedy taking his spot in the lineup.

Senior career
Keeter competed at the 2013 ASICS University National Championships in the Greco-Roman 70-kilogram (154-pound) weight class, placing second. He also competed in the freestyle competition, going 3–2 though he did not place.[2]
