John Beatty
John Beatty was a wrestler for Augsburg College. The first two-time national titlist for Augsburg, Beatty won the 134-pound title in 1988 and the 142-pound title in 1990.[1]
College career
Beatty was Augsburg's first four-time All American to earn the honor in four consecutive years from 1987 through 1990 (Tom Hall was the first to earn four All American honors, but didn't do so over three years[2]). Beatty was also Augsburg's first two-time individual National Champion.
In 2007, Beatty was inducted into the Division III Wrestling Hall of Fame.[3]
