Josh Roberts is an wrestler for Augsburg College. He competed for Augsburg at the beginning of the 2008–09 season before being injured and returned at the start of the 2008–09 season.

College career

2008–09 season

Roberts competed in two events during the 2008–09 season, going 2-1 at the Auggie-Brute-Adidas Open for fifth place in the 125-pound gold division.[1] Then on November 26, he lost a close 4-3 decision with St. John's Chad Henle.[2] He was subsequently injured and did not compete the rest of the season. He was granted a medical hardship by the NCAA.[3]

2009–10 season

Roberts began the 2009–10 season listed at 125 pounds.[4] After being injured most of the previous season, and receiving medical hardship from the NCAA, Roberts will have four years of eligibility left and is expected to compete normally.[3] At the Auggie-Brute-Adidas Open, Roberts went 3-1, taking second place. In the first round Roberts defeated Justin Marx (Central College) 12-5 and then Louis Mazetta (Luther College) 6-0 in the quarterfinals before upsetting top-seeded Tyler Mumbulo 5-2.
